7. Smoke trails

Photographing smoke trails  creates some amazing and magical photographs that catch your eye imidiatly and draws you into the magical essence of the photograph. To photograph a smoke trail all you need is a joss stick or a candle, a black background and a light to illuminate the smoke on the background. The lighting is important when doing these kind of photographs because you need it to be light enough so you can use a fast shutter speed to freeze the motion of the smoke and get a clear photograph.
